I am a French speaker. At first, I really thaught that the person wrote this in purpose. I googled « Alice Bread » to be sure, I founded the Disney picture where Alice eat the Slice of bread that make her grow up. I loved this image. My imagination went through the colorful wonderland.

I did not know the phrase «  You are the coolest thing since sliced bread » ! I can’t blame English speaker, we have so many strange phrases in French like  » it’s raining like a cow piing », What a beautiful language!

So, thanks to the automatic corrector, I received « You are just the coolest thing since Alice Bread! » I loved this comparison so much.

Even if I understood after what he wanted to write, we decided to keep  » Alice’s bread » in our conversations. It’s more approriated to us. After all, we are following the white rabbit, discovering where the rabbit hole ends. So, eating Alice’s bread and grow up, why not?
